Students will learn basic cookery skills, from cutting an onion to creating a sauce. Topics include:
· cooking techniques
· kitchen safety
· how to choose fresh, healthy, inexpensive ingredients
· how to use leftovers
Students will cook individually and in pairs and will be shown how to plan and cook meals and will come away confident in how to make nutritious, delicious and filling meals which will not take hours to prepare. You will cook your own lunches and prepare dishes to take away with you at the end of every day.
Also available after the day’s cooking: Outdoor heated swimming pool and croquet for relaxation.
This course can be residential by arrangement.
